About FPS TOOL

Free tools to dial in your aim, made by a player for players.

Why this site exists

Every time you switch games, the same questions come back: what sens to use in Valorant coming from CS2, why your aim feels different when the math is right, how to get your crosshair back, what to change for 4:3 stretched. The answers exist, but they're scattered across spreadsheets, old forum posts and converters that ignore field of view. FPS TOOL brings it all together, with fast tools and clear explanations.

What the site does

  • The sensitivity converter keeps the same full turn across 12 games, and can also adjust for FOV to keep the same feel near the crosshair.
  • The stretched resolution tool gives the sens to use in 4:3 stretched, 5:4, 16:10 or black bars.
  • The eDPI calculator gives your eDPI and cm/360, the measure that compares across games.
  • The crosshair vault stores your crosshairs with a preview, reads codes from several games and converts a crosshair from one game to another, flagging what can't be reproduced.
  • The guides explain the theory (eDPI, cm/360, FOV, 4:3 stretched, choosing a crosshair) with worked examples.

How the math works

Each game turns your sens into a rotation angle with its own scale (called "yaw", in degrees per mouse count). The site uses values documented by the games and the community, then applies the full turn formula: cm/360 = 2.54 x 360 / (yaw x sens x DPI). For feel matching, it computes each game's real field of view for your screen (horizontal or vertical FOV, widened or not at 16:9) and compares how fast the crosshair moves on screen.

When a value isn't certain (a game that doesn't publish its FOV, an estimated speed), the site says so next to the result instead of pretending. Games change with updates: if you spot a difference, let us know.

Principles

  • Free, no account: everything runs in your browser. Vault backup works with a simple code, no email.
  • No intrusive ads: no full-screen ads and no ads stuck to the bottom of your screen. Ads only pay for the site.
  • Independent: the site isn't affiliated with any game publisher or hardware brand.
